4/11/99: I apologize for not updating for a bit, LOTS going on! The BIGGEST Mustang event for me since nitrous oxide:
THE RETURN OF THE HOOD - It appears that my Cincinnati Composites hood tried to exact revenge for the nasty article I wrote
on its manufacturer! On my way home cruising at about 50 mph, the damn thing decides it isn't comfortable over the engine and would
rather be covering my windshield. Needless to say the hood's suicide run took out the windshield, the wipers, and made large dents
in the roof in it's little split-second of glory. The hood has lost the war, however, because it happened a mile from my house and I'm
still alive! I'll keep everybody posted.
3/25/99: The NOS 5115 kit is hooked up again after I tore the main hose by dragging it on the ground under the car. I have
it jetted for a 75 horsepower shot until I get a new fuel pump. I will have a do's and don't's page reguarding nitrous oxide very soon. ALSO:
make sure you check out Bubba's musclestang.com (and tell him the Beast sent ya). His
message areas are VERY up to date and a lot like LS1.COM's.
